Create effective, efficient, logistical boundaries, handle stalls, prepare for both transactional and transformational negotiations, and use personality technology to plan your next negotiations event. Participants will practice disarming positional thinking and creating common ground. They will also learn to turn competition into collaboration, as well as learn to turn a move into a turn, and how to create relationships in negotiations that will last.

Dimensional Negotiations Objectives:

  • Assess and dissect current negotiation dynamics.
  • Use the Dimensional Negotiating Model to organize your strategy.
  • Create effective, efficient logistical boundaries.
  • Prepare for both transactional and transformational negotiating.
  • Draw on personality theory to understand temperament and resistance points.
  • Create common ground with any co-negotiator, on any topic.
  • Disarm positional thinking that turns any negotiation into a competition.
  • Understand that leverage is the real power in negotiations.
  • Rehearse your transformational negotiations in role plays and case studies.
  • Apply the learning to your real life negotiation challenges!
