Learn the correct communication methods, both hard and soft, to succeed as a professional employee and leader. These core skills include e-mail, language, verbal methodology, and giving and receiving feedback. Participants will have many chances to practice the most effective ways to build trust and improving relationships through practical application at the workshop.

Leadership Communications Objectives:

  • Use the proper mediums in your organization to capture written communications and view the power of each form of written communication including e-mail.
  • Identify the dos and do nots of written, face-to-face, and e-mail.
  • Learn the structure of effective presentations, reduce the natural fear of presenting ideas, and demonstrate your presentation style.
  • Practice listening at three levels continuously to enhance your presentation skills.
  • Learn the power of metaphors and choose your personal metaphor for communication success.
  • Apply meta-messages into your daily life to improve the quality of your communication skills.
  • Determine your level of Lazy Language and build new processes to replace them.
  • Present your ideas for the group and receive feedback from the workshop audience regarding presentation and feedback.
  • Create activities that bring all the communications categories forward and integrate them into your action plan.
