Most people hire by resume and then later learn that their skills alone are not what makes the candidate a successful choice. This program identifies job fitness, job characteristics, and examines how to build a hiring matrix and reach consensus as you develop plans for new selections. We offer the latest hiring techniques to help you select the best people for the organization.

Targeted Interviewing Objectives:

  • Fair, square, and legal interviewing skills.
  • Job fitness including job characteristics.
  • Ideal Candidate Selection process including stars, documentation, note taking, matrix building, and consensus reaching.
  • Appropriate interviewing methods and interviewing steps.
  • Justification and documentation of selection choices.
  • Developmental plan for your new selection process.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting non-verbal indicators, including body language, facial expression, and voice inflection. Process of actual selection in teams and individually.
  • Mastery for replicating the Ideal Candidate Selection process in conjunction with Human Resources for: increasing effectiveness in choosing the right people, involving people who will have a vested interest in the success of candidates, reducing turnover, increasing meaning for new hires, and insuring short-term success for new candidates.
